WORK

Freelance Works

Starting in 2015, I have been freelancing to both keep my skills up and learn more about what clients want and need. In my time working with various clients, I have been privileged to be able to help small businesses in the Chicago area launch, grow, and present themselves to the world.  I am including a sample of these projects, and am proud of my growth and work.

2015 - 2017 Wine Paper Scissors

Wine Paper Scissors was a family business in Mokena, IL that hosted painting parties. While the bulk of the work was a website, with complex ordering options, shipping, and payment systems, there was also a print component. These were tags used when you ordered product for them to produce for you, and an ad for back to school.

2017 ALIVE Project

ALIVE was a concept for an NPO focused on using ISO shipping containers as an inexpensive housing option to relieve homelessness. These containers would be fitted into apartments, allowing privacy and a sense of dignity and safety.

The project never left the concept stage, unfortunately.

2019 Progressive Communications

This is the website for a Chicago area company specializing in touchscreen programming and audio/video integration. Projects of theirs include conference rooms, media rooms, and stadiums.

2020 Topline Restoration

Topline is primarily a roofing company, specialized in commercial roofing projects. They also provide residential services. My work was in site design and icon design.

2023 Fratello's Catering

This was my first foray into menu design. I have redesigned their catering menu and cafe menu, which is presented on TV screens in the restaurant. The primary challenge was matching the old designs, while updating them to a more modern aesthetic.

2023 J&J Logo Design

A quick one-off, this is a logo created for a local restaurant supplier. It was created to their specs.

All of these were produced using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Site designs were created in WordPress.
