Martec International

Martec International is part of the HTI family of companies. Martec has been supplying parts to the trucking and intermodal industries for over 50 years.

In my role as Marketing Coordinator, I am responsible for creation of flyers, catalogs, videos, emails, and more. Since 2016, I have accumulated a fairly substantial range of products, some of which I can show here.

Martec Logo Evolution

Over the course of my time with Martec, I have been tasked with updating the various brand logos. In 2015 the owners hired a consultant who created the green arrow logo. The owner was not really pleased, and I was tasked to redo it in red.

After a bit, the gear and wave being misaligned got to me, so I rebuilt the logo from scratch to have it properly aligned.

UBLights Logo Evolution

One of the earliest tasks I had was updating catalogs, websites, and more for the UBLights lighting line. To accomplish that, I first converted the logo to a flat look, removing the odd gradient and dropshadows from the original.

In 2023, our parent company decided to simplify their color pallete, and the green was converted to red.

ProCore Logo Evolution

The first thing I was tasked to complete when I was hired in 2016 was a catalog for ProCore, a house brand of replacement parts. Looking at what existed, the first step was correcting the logo to fit into the style of the existing UBLights logo.

This change has continued in use to the present.
